SFS backup wall systems.

Light Steel Framing

Structural framing systems (SFS) installed and coordinated as the backup wall to carry cladding, rainscreen, glazing and movement loads.

What we install

We install cold-rolled light-gauge steel framing to form infill and backup walls behind the facade, coordinating slab edge tolerances, openings, deflection heads, sheathing, racking, membranes and interfaces for cladding, windows and curtain walling.

Sheathing and racking boards
Opening formation and lintels
Insulation and breather membrane
Setting-out to structural grid
SFS design support and coordination with engineers
Deflection head, base track and movement details

Tender review

Start with loads, spans and movement

We review SFS zones, spans and supports against the project information, identify important scope boundaries and return the next clarification needed for a coordinated quotation.

Interfaces we check

The review considers studs, tracks, deflection heads, openings, restraints, sheathing and facade interfaces. Final responsibility and design authority remain as stated in the appointment and project documents.

What to send

Share the current plans, elevations, sections, loads, movement criteria, programme and design responsibility. An existing controlled tender-platform or SharePoint link is enough to start.
